Surgery can be performed under local anaesthesia with sedation or general anaesthesia. Depending on the needs of the patient, problems in the knee or ankle can be fixed with liposuction and/or fat injection. If there are problems in the leg area relating to thinness and/or bow leg, these can be corrected with silicone implants, fat or filler injection. For patients with thick legs, liposuction or muscle resection may be performed.
