Nose Aesthetics

Nose Aesthetic Techniques
There are two techniques, open and closed. The technique by which the patient can be operated depends on both the personal habits of the surgeon and the surgical procedure to be planned in the patient. In the open technique, surgery is performed with an incision made from the tissue that connects the tip of the nose and the lip. In the closed technique, incisions are made through the nostrils.

Operation
It takes 1-1.5 hours on average and is performed under general anesthesia. Both the external aesthetics of the nose and the intraperitoneal intervention are performed simultaneously and the patient tries to provide a more comfortable breathing. Plastic nose plaster is placed at the end of the operation. Depending on the situation, a silicone tampon is inserted into the nose.

Postoperative
A significant suspicion of the final shape of the nose appears within 1 month postoperatively. But it takes about 6 months to complete this process. Patients with thicker skin may need to wait for even 1 year.
