TEETH WHITENING

There are many different methods for whitening teeth.

Most common methods;

Home-Type Teeth Whitening

Office-Type Teeth Whitening

If you want the color of your teeth to be close to white and a few tonnes only, home-type whitening may be sufficient.

If your teeth are too thick due to smoking, coffee, or tea, the most effective and efficient tooth whitening method can be office-type whitening.

When you come to our dental clinic for examination, our physicians will suggest the most appropriate tooth whitening method.

How to apply a home-based tooth whitening method?

Measures are taken from the mouth and appropriate bleaching plaques are prepared.

A certain amount of bleaching gel (10 (15% carbamide peroxide) is applied to this prepared plate.

How long does it take for home teeth whitening?

The plaque is a treatment that lasts for 10-15 days to be used for at least 4-6 hours a day.

How much gel should I put into the plate?

In the case of household whitening, it is important not to apply the gel too much, otherwise, it will irritate the gel gums overflowing through the plate.

In such a case, gums should be washed immediately and a cream containing vitamin E should be applied to the surface that is irritated. If this is the case, contact your dentist.

What is Office Type Teeth Whitening?

It is the tooth whitening method applied in the dental clinic.

It is a suitable method for patients with time constraints. The application time lasts shorter than other methods and the same is effective.

The whitening gel applied on the teeth by the dentist is activated with UV light or laser and the whitening lasts for 1 hour. Also known as the laser tooth whitening method.
